Job Description:
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a dynamic team in West Africa. This artisan will be responsible for upgrades, installation and repair of current gold processing plant.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for recovery and upgrade of plant
- Maintenance, repair and installation of (hose pumps and mono pumps ect) agitators, conveyors, crusher screens, cone crushers, jaw crushers and ball mills.
- Ensure to comply with all mine health and safety regulations and standards
- Fault finding and inspection
- Training, development and skills transfer to local artisans
- Ensure to complete regular progress and technical reports on work activity
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
- Qualified / Trade Tested Fitter (Artisan)
- Experience on Processing Plant / Fixed Plant, repairs, upgrades and installation
- Minimum of 5 years post trade test experience
- Previous proven expatriate experience in Africa
- Previous experience in a Supervisory capacity
