Job Description:

Our client is seeking an IT Supervisor who will maintain and administer the company ICT systems and networks. The incumbent will perform high level technical duties and administer day to day functioning of the ICT service delivered to business. Furthermore, project will be administered by you and managed by the IT Superintendent / IT Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Project administration and liaising with suppliers / external contractors.
• MS Teams administration.
• Anti-Virus compliance.
• IT Asset administration.
• Network / WiFi availability and quality control.
• Helpdesk management.
• ICT technicians management.
• Cabling administration, management and new installation.
• Printing management.
• Camp recreational TV / Wifi administration.
• Mobile phone government.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Experience with medium to large mining sites.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within medium to large mining sites.
• Proven experience with medium scale ICT projects.
• Ethernet and fiber optic cabling experience is a requirement.
• Wireless point-to-point and coverage – experience with Ubiquiti / Cisco.
• CCTV experience is a defining factor – HiKvision / Cathexis / Samsung / Bosch.
• Experience in network management and help desk support is an advantage.
• Understanding of basic network design and communication principles.
• Technical certification (CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ etc.) is a plus.
