Our client is seeking a highly skilled Operations Efficiency Lead Senior to drive operational performance improvements across their mining sites. The successful candidate will play a critical role in identifying inefficiencies, developing process improvement strategies, and ensuring optimal utilization of resources to enhance production efficiency. This role requires an analytical mindset and strong leadership capabilities to implement sustainable changes that improve both productivity and profitability.


 


Responsibilities:


  • Operational Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses of mining operations to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Process Optimization: Lead the development and implementation of strategies to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and enhance production efficiency across all OCP mining operations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to ensure the successful execution of efficiency improvement initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and track progress towards targets.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by driving Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies throughout the organization.
  • Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement new technologies and automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of efficiency experts, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality outcomes.


 


Requirements: Qualification and Skill


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mining Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in operations efficiency within the mining or heavy industry sectors, with a proven track record of improving operational performance.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
  • Experience in mining operations and production processes.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance management tools.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor teams effectively.
