Our client, a new player in the Agri-industry in the Middle East, is currently searching for an experienced Process Shift Team Leader to join their team under the direction of the Process Supervisor. The Shift Team Leader will ensure performance and production goals are achieved by utilizing plant equipment in a safe, sanitary, quality, and efficient manner. The incumbent will further oversee all team members and ensure all duties and tasks are being performed efficiently and effectively during each shift

The incumbent will further oversee all team members and ensure all duties and tasks are being performed efficiently and effectively during each shift
Responsibilities:
- Create shift schedules for team members
- Ensure achieving performance and production goals.
- Assess individual team member abilities and aptitudes, incorporate into shift duties to promote happy employees and effective workflows
- Oversee all team members and ensure all duties and tasks are being performed efficiently and effectively during each shift
- Manage time off requests and unexpected no-show situations
- Facilitate disciplinary action when necessary (tardiness, etc.)
- Maintain a work environment that encourages compliance with safety laws and employment guidelines
- Set performance goals for individual team members, create reward systems and/or contests as needed
- Ensure production goals are met
- Participate in weekly management meetings to discuss goals, progress, and any issues in need of resolution
- Relevant Certification/Qualification
- At least 5 – 8 years in a similar role
- Knowledge of good manufacturing practices
