Job Description:


Our client, a leading construction equipment manufacturer, is currently looking for a Product Manager.  The ideal candidate will possess detailed understanding of operational, administrative and system processes in the warehouse as well as well experience in managing a team.


Responsibilities:


  • Demonstrate abilities in identifying and analyzing the technical advantages/competitive advantages of LiuGong products through the comparative study of sites and competitors’ products and activities.
  • Develop compelling sale speech, videos, presentation, and pictures and produce TCO data based on the technical advantage/competitive advantages of LiuGong products.
  • Develop and propose products development and improvement plans through the comparative study on sites and competitors’ products and follow up with headquarter about strategies.
  • Demonstrate abilities in crafting and developing compelling sale speeches and tools including creating customer success stories, developing sale pitches and standard terminology in product introduction speech.
  • Provide and propose integrated product solutions to key industrial customers through comprehensive studying and understanding of their working conditions.
  • Fill in the technical parameters of bidding data.
  • Drive the product- and business-planning processes for cross-functional teams.
  • Analyse customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build-vs.-buy perspective.
  • Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation.
  • Analyse product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they’re met.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments.
  • Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plan.
  • Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams.
  • Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.
  • Analyse market data to develop sales strategies and define product objectives for effective marketing communications.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization.


Requirements:


  • Strong experience in a dynamic product management role.
  • Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
  • High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business study/ product design or engineering.
  • 5-10 years of working experience in heavy equipment (Wheel Loaders, Excavator, Roller, Grader, Bulldozer and etc.)
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Strategic mindset with excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Ability to maintain business relationship with a high degree of integrity and trust.
