Job Description:
Our client is a multinational engineering company who require a Product Manager for their Grinding Technology to be based in Johannesburg.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain close relations with current and potential customers
- Prepare ten-der submissions and technical calculations as required
- Assist with project and business development
- Resolve process related queries
- Simulate flow sheet solutions using JKSimMet, AggFlow or Limn
- Assist with de-sign and selection of 3rd party components
- Plan and execute test pro-grammes
- Perform tests and manage the HPGR test facility and test work campaigns
- Sales and Marketing of HPGR test facility
- Facilitation of sample collection and delivery
- Continuous improvement of HPGR test facility
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
- BEng/Btech Degree (Metallurgy or Chemical) or equivalent.
- Knowledge of LIMN, AggFlow and JKS-imMet software
- Minimum 4– 8 years mineral process and capital sales experience
- Strong process knowledge with proven track record, Strong comminution background, Good reporting and presentation skills.
- Excellent customer interface skills.
- Positive attitude – eager to learn
- Consistent – patient, adherence to procedures and paying attention to details at all times,
- Safety conscious – ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Ability to liaise with all clients at all different levels (operators to managers)
