A world-renowned electronics company is seeking an experienced Product Manager. This role manages all the aspects impacting on the product line to ensure the elimination of barriers to achieve sales targets and fully responsible for profitable product management life cycle within Integrated Mobile.
 
Responsibilities:
 
PLC Management (Marketing)
  • Line up preparation and communication, including full product launching plan/ budget, covering ATL & BTL Marketing Strategy/ investment with key local messaging. [Source LMP]
  • Product Selection and line up / channel strategy
  • Competitor product analysis (Positioning and Pricing)
  • Development of Marcom & Sales Support material for product group including: P.O.S. Display rack/solution, Sales Catalogues, Sales Tool Kit, Sales talk guides for FSM
  • Digital Media management including SNS and Home website.
  • PR strategy development, execution and monitoring, including Digital media
 
Market Intelligence
  • Analysis and reporting to management and Korea HQ on cyclical 3rd party M.I. reports such as GFK, DAS and BAS.
  • Regular Price Positioning monitoring compared to competitors
  • Regular Incentive Positioning monitoring compared to competitors
  • Conduct Ad Hoc Market Research on consumer preferences and consumption habits/ trends to better inform product strategy and marketing decisions
  • Maintain Key Product Management Tools: Roadmap, Specification, Competitor Feature Comparison analysis, Price Positioning Matrix, Weekly Retail Price Tracking, Display Guideline, Content management Guideline SDA Channel

  • Daily updates to Business Documents regarding Weekly Sales, Monthly Sales, GP, Pricing and Sales partner sales
  • Maintain Sales System Pricing updates monthly
  • Maintain PSI for assigned product category. [3 month - Purchases, Sales, Inventory]
  • Secure Government legislative Import approvals required for product category, such as SABS / LOA / ICASA etc
 
Sales Management
  • Weekly sell-out analysis for major account and review Sell-out promotion result and make plan to counter Competition
  • Monitoring low performing stores not achieving target
  • Weekly Consensus meeting with Key Account Managers to improve sell-out forecasting accuracy
  • Price Strategy formulation, communication and RRP monitoring, ensuring achievement of product categories GP requirements
 
Supply Chain Management
  • Responsible for weekly update of 20 week rolling demand forecast, for all incoming SKU's, effective forecasting, stock management and logistics to ensure on time product delivery
  • Improving SCM Key Performance Indicators, including: Sell-out forecasting accuracy, Consensus achievement of sales between Product marketing and Sales staff, Sales staff Order earliness achievement, Sales Capability Index, Product forecasting accuracy
 
Relationship Management
  • Develop and maintain healthy relationships with HQ AM/PM Teams and SA Sales Structures
  • Transfer of knowledge to junior staff in training through coaching
  • Take responsibility for self-development through self-study, identification of learning opportunities

Requirements: Qualification and Skill
  • Degree/Diploma in Marketing and Product Management
  • 5 years product management experience – Essential
  • 3 - 5 years marketing experience within the integrated mobile industry – Essential
 
Technical:
  • Very Strong Excel and PowerPoint Skills
  • System Knowledge (Will be provided) SAPR3, SIMS, SINGLE, GSCM, MCS, Syncsight, Prins, GSBN, GPPM, MNET, BW, CRM, FST, VOIC, ITSELF, E.Office, ECMS, GMPS
  • Must be PC Literate
  • Knowledge of SAP an advantage
  • Knowledge of the Integrated Mobile Industry is an advantage.
