Job Description:
Our client is an international mining and metals recovery business with operations in SA and across Africa. The opportunity exists for a Production Superintendent, who will be responsible for leading the company’s production Team in the safe and cost-effective execution of all Operational processes on the site, ensuring high quality finished products. The ideal incumbent will have the following experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Production Team
- Compile, implement and review the overall production and operational strategy
- Ensure Safety, Health, Quality and Environmental standards and compliance
- Ensure adherence to production standards and targets
- Ensure strict adherence to legislation, engineering standards, company policies and procedures
- Conduct Performance Management, Training and Development, Coaching and Mentoring of your Team
- Drive and Implement Continuous Improvement projects
- Ensure clear communication
- Drive continuous improvement
- Manage the Departmental Budget
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
- B.Eng. or National Diploma Engineering: Metallurgical/Chemical
- Have a minimum of 5 Years’ experience in the Chrome environment. with at least 2 years in a senior supervisory role
- Be Medically fit
- High Level of proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
