Job Description:

An exciting client of ours within the online education space is seeking to hire a Senior Integration Architect to join their team. The client is based in Johannesburg, however the role is a remote opportunity. The successful individual will provide data mapping, design, development, and support functions for the businesses integrations between Salesforce CRM and Partner Student Information Systems using both AWS and the Boomi Integration and API Platform. The role is based in the Digital Transformation Directorate, headed up from the UK. The role will primarily support partners in Portugal and Brazil.

• The client makes use of the following exciting technologies:
  • Dell Boomi, Amazon Web Services (Lambda, Route 53, S3, CloudFront, QuickSight, WorkSpaces), Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, Dell Boomi, Active Campaign, Box, Files.com (SFTP), Canvas (LMS), Slack, Zapier, Zoom and Office365 specifically Microsoft Excel, PowerBI.

Responsibilities:

• Document business process, data flows and the underpinning technologies.
• Map and align our Partner University processes and systems to the organization’s.
• Give functional and technical advice to our partners on integration design and delivery using design patterns including the use of REST APIs and data interchange formats like JSON, CSV, XML formats.
• Be a hands-on integration expert and prepare / review project deliverables.
• Engage in integration design workshops with the partner and communicate clearly to clients and internally the outcomes of such workshops.
• Plan, design, and document solutions based on customer requirements.
• Design and build technically sound integration solutions between our and our partners systems.
• Provide a data analysis function and lead activities for data cleansing, data reporting, data validation and monitor the quality of data integrations.
• Provide a 2nd line integration and data integrity support service for call center and wider organization staff through telephone and email enquiries.
• Ensure the integration points between Salesforce and surrounding systems are stable and running, checking error logs, and resolving issues.
• Manage operational requests and reporting requirements for end users.
• Be responsible for our data security and make sure all solutions follow industry security good practice.

Requirements:

• A degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field.
• 2+ years Boomi, MuleSoft, AWS or similar integration experience.
• Proven experience with 3+ successful integration projects.
• Experience of designing and performing data quality processes both manually and scheduled using SQL, Python or similar.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Highly driven individual with a hands-on mentality.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Analyze, design and be able to document business flows.
