Job Description:

Our client is looking for an Analyst that will actively support the Treasury Group and be responsible for backing efforts in originating, structuring, and executing fixed income, money market, foreign exchange transactions, borrowings, and innovative treasury solutions, with a focus on derivative solutions, structured products, and capital markets initiatives. The Analyst will support interactions with both internal stakeholders (Investments, Risk Management & Compliance, Legal, Operations, Finance, etc.) and external stakeholders (Rating Agencies, investment and development bankers, custodians, etc.) to ensure that the Treasury team delivers on all its financial and non-financial key performance indicators (KPIs).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in structuring and executing transactions involving derivatives, structured credit, and financing solutions for clients/projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor supplier contract performance ensuring compliance with terms and conditions therein.
  • Prepare/oversee preparation and distribution of invitations to tender and manage/conduct all aspects of bid/proposal evaluations.
  • Establish the annual work plan; determine priorities/targets and performance measurements and monitor work progress to ensure that results are achieved according to schedule and performance standards.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues
  • Maintain procurement records to ensure proper documentation of processes, decisions, and contracts for audit purposes.
  • Offer the necessary guidance in preparing quarterly cost analysis reports on goods and services procured.
  • Track the status of purchases and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Update and maintain internal databases and files, including tracking contractual agreements and key procurement documents.
  • Take the lead in renewing running contracts before their expiry dates and report on contract performance as directed.
  • Log and track purchase requisitions in the procurement system to ensure proper documentation and processing.
  • Support asset inventory checks and update asset records as required.
  • Disposal of used or redundant assets in compliance with organizational policies.
  • Receive and verify invoices for goods and services received, ensuring accuracy and compliance with purchase orders.
  • Guide users on basic procurement procedures, such as preparing purchase requisitions and understanding procurement policies.
  • Provides guidance to, and supervise, support staff in the department.
  • Perform other administrative and operational tasks as assigned by the Principal Procurement and Administration Officer.

 

Role Specifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSP) will be an added advantage.
  • Basic understanding of procurement rules, regulations, and policies, including familiarity with public procurement guidelines where applicable.
  • Prior experience in a procurement role, preferably in a structured organization or multicultural setting.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, including sourcing, tendering, and contract management.
  • Familiarity with procurement and inventory management systems or databases.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle operational challenges in procurement.
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • French language competency will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities: 
IT Strategy & Leadership:

  • Strong understanding of academic technologies, including LMS and student management systems, is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience working with various ERP platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and cloud-based solutions.
