Predictive Discovery commences diamond drilling in Cote D’Ivoire
,Predictive Discovery a gold exploration company focused in West Africa has commenced a 1,500m diamond drilling program at the Nyangboue prospect with their joint venture partner Toro Gold. This project is within the Boundiali permit in Cote D’Ivoire.
Drilling is aimed at understanding the controls on gold mineralization intersected in the initial reverse circulation drilling program last year.
Results from that program included 20 metres at 10.5 g/t gold from 38 metres depth including 1 metre at 144.5 g/t gold.

Cote D’Ivoire
Under the Toro Gold joint venture, the company has interests in 6 granted exploration permits and 2 permit applications, totaling 2,936 square kilometres. They are also conducting exploration under an agreement on the Bobosso Project, which covers a further 1,200 square kilometres.
Burkina Faso
The company has a Burkina-based team and a large regional tenement package in the north-east of the country covering 1,222 square kilometres.
The exploration focus is on the high-grade Bongou gold discovery which has a resource of 184,000 ounces of gold with an average grade of 2.6 g/t gold.
Other upcoming exploration programs
Drilling is also planned on some other Cote D’Ivoire permits including:
- Ferkessedougou South,
- Ferkessedougou North and
- Kokoumbo / Beriaboukro ground package
Furthermore, ground geo-chemical surveys are ongoing on the Toro Gold joint venture ground whilst initial geo-chemical exploration work is expected to commence on the new Cote D’Ivoire permit applications as soon as they are granted.
