What industry do you work in and what are your skills? 

I work in the field of electrical engineering and my skills are:

  1. BIOELEC From Yaounde. In the service of bio-medical equipment maintenance, for the preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical appliances, computer systems and electrical systems across the enterprise.
  2. NPHS Department of Electrical Engineering for the completion of phase failure detector (s) in an electrically powered equipment phase in the academic internship License.
  3. SABC breweries Cameroon agency west, Service maintenance of electrical equipment in the academic training of the DUT.

What prompted you to get into this kind of industry?

The desire to overcome the various challenges facing the industry and excel is what prompted me to tap into this industry.

What are the qualifications and experience that you had to take to establish yourself and thus become a professional in your industry?

My experience from July 2012 to present: Promoter Lepro workshop in Douala where i was responsible for the PCB design electronic boards controlled by computers and micro-controllers such as: universal programmers micro-controllers standalone copiers 24CXXX of memories, automatic starter generators, PCB washing machines, troubleshooting electrical appliances such as: UPS, voltage regulators, battery chargers, printers, photocopiers, copiers, computer supplies, power supplies cards plasma television screens, computer maintenance and automation generators, industrial installation (joinery, mills, bakeries) rewinding and installation of electric motors, wheels, drill, jigsaw, moulinexes and so much more.

What is the most difficult aspect of your field of work?

Competition in my line of work is intense and trying to maintain a competitive advantage is also quite difficult.

How do you manage and overcome these challenges?

I manage these challenges by doing a lot of competitive intelligence and constantly improving my skills and knowledge such as online training in order to stay abreast of trends in the social network.

What has been the highlight of your career?

My 2 career highlights :

1. The job position, Project Supervisor for Bioelec Business ;

2. Workshop manager – Lepro.

If someone starts as a trainee / beginning in your line of work, what could they earn in terms of salary?

Between roughly 200 and 300 000 FCFA.

What this person can expect to earn after 10 years of experience?

Between roughly 700 and 800 000 FCFA.

What motivates you to work so hard?

My wife and my daughter are my motivations and my personal desire to consistently exceed.

What are your prospects in your industry over the next 5 years?

My outlook for the next five years is to become even more of an expert in electronic design.

As you know, many African countries have invested in for their rich minerals. What countries in Africa do you think will be the next hot item and why?

CAMEROON because of its rich mineral subsoil, stability in the country because there is no war or terrorism, the diversity of its culture and its strategic position in Central Africa.
