- 5 countries where French is not one of the official languages but has a powerful presence

Lusophone Africa refers to all the Portuguese-speaking countries in Africa and include these 6 countries:
- Angola
- Cape Verde
- Guinea-Bissau
- Mozambique
- São Tomé and Príncipe
