About the job:
You will be responsible for managing the social services team and managing multidisciplinary projects. This is quite an exciting job as you will also act as a client liaison through regular meetings and networking.
Remuneration and salary:
This is a permanent job that offers the appointed candidate a market related salary package.
Experience required to be considered for this job:
To be considered for this job, you need to have the following:
- Post graduate degree in Social Sciences
- Project Management certificate (advantageous)
- 8 – 10 years’ experience in the Social Sciences field oriented around Socio-Economic impact assessments, resettlement action plans social and labour plans and local economic development plans
- 5 years’ experience in the mining industry
- Up to date knowledge of environmental, mining and social legislation (Very NB!)

About the job:
The client is an established company of environmental professionals who is actively seeking to employ a specialist with both operations and consulting experience to join the company as an associate.
This job is for an Environmental Specialist with a background in air quality evaluation and who is technically strong in terms of engineering processes and operations. If you have a passion for the environment then this could be the perfect job opportunity for you.
Remuneration and salary:
This is a permanent job that offers the appointed candidate a market related salary package. AA candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Experience required to be considered for this job:
- Graduate Degree in Chemical Engineering and Environmental Science.
- Experience in environmental licensing and regulation preferably petrochemical or metallurgical.
- Must be registered as a Pr.Sci.Nat with SACNASP or as a Professional Engineer with ECSA.
- Extensive knowledge in environmental Legislation and Regulations.
- 5 years in a senior management position.
- Business development and marketing experience.
- A valid driver’s licence.
