Requirements: Qualification and Skill

1. Minimum of 3-year finance degree and preferably CA (SA) and / or CFA

Senior Resource Geologist – West Africa

Our client is seeking a strong Resource Geologist to manage a team of geologists on resource development geology onsite in West Africa!

Kindly note the contractual requirements before applying:

Contractual Information

1. Expatriate contract
2. Roster 6 weeks on 3 weeks off
3. Market related USD salary

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

1. At least 10 years, preferably >15 years mining experience with at least 5 years in resource development roles for narrow vein open pit mines.
2. High attention to detail, providing strong leadership, working autonomously and as part of a team.
3. Strong communication skills to interface effectively with your team, and the other business units on and off site, and at times, with consultants.
4. Proficient in the use of Surpac, acQuire, and MS Office Suite.
5. Experience in working in Africa (preferably West Africa)
6. Fluent in written and spoken English and at least basic spoken French is highly preferable
