Ethiopia is set to become an industrial hub of Africa by 2025. This is according to AllAfrica.com. Following its economic success, Ethiopia has been dubbed the “African Lion.” But the current drought and a downturn in growth have taken their toll, as was pointed out in a recent conference held in Munich aimed at attracting investors.
Ethiopia is endowed with agriculture-rich resources. The country possesses one of the largest and most diverse genetic resources in the world. [Source: ,AllAfrica.com]
According to Ethiopia’s Minister of Planning, Ethiopia has many economically favourable attractions:
- A conducive business environment
- Political stability
- Sound economic policies
- Macroeconomic stability
- Abundant natural resources
- Trainable workforce
