Sales and Marketing Manager | Johannesburg / Cape Town, South Africa
We are seeking a Sales and Marketing Manager with experience in the Hospitality Sector to be part of our client’s 5* resort in Mozambique. Situated on the pristine Mozambican coastline and encompasses long stretches of unspoilt beaches, some of the world‘s best diving sites with tranquil and natural surroundings, with 22 beautiful suites set on top the hillside with the most beautiful panoramic views, a luxurious spa, an expanse of pools and beach side public areas as well as 3 F&B outlets geared towards highlighting a variety of Mozambican dishes and made to suit every palate.
The Sales and Marketing Manager will be the key person to ensure the brand and reputation is aptly established in the desired markets. This role requires a mature manager with 10 years or more of hospitality and sales experience and an excellent network of already established inbound and international agent relationships. Together with Executive Management, the Sales and Marketing Manager should strategically plan annual sales trips and identify new target markets in order to create sales opportunities in these markets.
The second key focus of the role will be the increase of average occupancy. This would need to be driven through strategic sales into better producing markets and simultaneously increasing market awareness of the brand and hence sales of our clients new fully inclusive rate.
The Sales and Marketing Manager will need to develop relationships with key market players and ensure our client has the right partnerships and site inspections visiting the property.
