I work in the Manufacturing Industry.

What are your strengths?

My strengths are perseverance, willingness to face new challenges and endurance.

What inspired you to get into the African Manufacturing Industry?

I trained and worked at a company which falls in this industry and additionally I am willing to work in any industry besides manufacturing.

What is the most challenging aspect within your field of work?

One of the challenges is working long overtime hours.

How do you manage and overcome these challenges?

I overcome such challenges with total commitment, experience and perseverance.

What has been the highlight of your career?

Trained and worked at a heavy Electrical Industry with the most complicated circuits. This has immensely nurtured me into a good Electrician who can tackle a lot of complicated Electrical problems.

If somebody starts as a trainee / beginner within your line of work, what could they earn in salary?

First year apprentices earn US $400.

What can this person expect to earn after 10 years of experience?

Roughly US$ 5000.

What advice can you offer people who are in the same industry as you?

Electrical field requires sober minds & being cautious every time when doing work. A slight mistake can lead to fatal deaths and equipment damage.

Do you have experience in the Africa Manufacturing Industry?

I have worked in Zimbabwe and briefly in South Africa.

As you know, numerous African countries are being invested in due to their rich minerals. Which country within Africa do you think will be the next hot spot and why?

Ghana due to its richness in oil.
