Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager whose primary focus will be to expand the customer footprint of the company’s technology. You will participate in regional commercial strategy and will be expected to execute against said strategy. Ensuring that all internal stakeholders are coordinated in line with the prospective customer’s expectations, to help you advance and win deals. Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with functional area managers to integrate sales and service activities with other business functions and align them with current and future sales and marketing strategies.
  • Oversee complex contracts to maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop contract management professionals to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

  • Section 13 Trade Certificate Millwright
  • Proof of Training / Modules/POE/Proof of apprenticeship

Job Description:

The Senior Financial Accountant will take on the comprehensive responsibility of managing all accounting functions related to the business. This encompasses daily bank reconciliations, optimization of cash management, oversight of tax and insurance matters, and cultivation of banking relationships. Moreover, the role entails handling VAT and tax return submissions, reconciling balance sheets, and preparing or reviewing management accounts. Reporting duties include delivering monthly Exco reports, monitoring customer count and sales summaries, preparing cash forecasts, and reviewing the Sales dashboard. Budget responsibilities involve aiding in budget preparation and monitoring actual performance against budget. Alongside managing the audit process and the finance team, the Senior Financial Accountant is expected to contribute to the development of accounting systems. The ideal candidate must possess a Chartered Accountant qualification. Essential attributes include proficiency in financial accounting, strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

 

Key Deliverables:

  • Daily bank reconciliations.
  • Monitor cash management daily to optimise interest.
  • Management of processes relating to tax provisional returns.
  • Annual returns and related payments.
  • Management of insurance and Management of banking relationships.
  • Review and submit VAT and tax returns.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
  • Preparation/review of management accounts.

 

  • Reporting:
  • Exco report back (monthly).
  • Customer count (monthly).
  • Sales summaries (monthly).
  • ALCO (cash forecast for Group Finance – monthly).
  • Cash forecast (daily).
  • Stock holding (daily).
  • Ad-hoc review of the Sales dashboard, which is prepared by the accountants daily.
  • Ad-hoc reports as requested.

 

  • Budget:
  • Preparation and uploading.
  • Monitoring monthly actual performance against budget.
  • Manage the audit process with the auditors as necessary.
  • Manage the finance team.
  • Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs and procedures.
  • Perform other accounting duties and support junior staff as required or assigned.

Our client is seeking a Regional Product Line Manager who will provide expert knowledge and support for the pump product line, from a process, mechanical, operational, maintenance and R&D perspective. Increase market share by pursuing new market opportunities and promote the retention of aftermarket business within the region. Responsibilities:  

  • Serve as the pump product expert in the region.
  • Participate in the development of go to market strategies.
  • Work with the regional sales teams to promote the pump product/services in the region to all relevant customers.
  • Work with global product line managers (GPLM), global service line managers (GSLM), product sales, and internal sales support to develop winning proposals.
  • Provide pump training and guidance to customers, sales, and field service.
  • Travel with sales to customer sites and engineering firms to troubleshoot, consult on system design, support start-ups as necessary, and ensure proper aftermarket support is in place, including warranty/quality issue resolution.
  • Provides won/lost reporting and customer feedback to GPLMs including regional market intelligence, competition activities etc.
  • Participate in pump product design, improvement opportunities, and new product development with GPLM/GSLM.
  • Drives testing for customers in region with GPLM/GSLM.
  • Support the launch of new pump products/services in region in collaboration with others.

 

 

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

  • At least 12 years’ experience within the mining & mineral processing industry.
  • At least 8 years’ experience in the product line.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a business development role.
  • NHD, BSC or B-Eng in Engineering.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in other languages, spoken by Customers in the region, will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of pump selection, sizing, and operating parameters.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, co-workers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Proven negotiation and influencing skills – both external and internal.
